Fernan González de Castilla del Valle Born in Mexico City on February 9, 1949. Professional license: 600981 Languages: Spanish and English Higher education: Bachelor in Law. – Escuela Libre de Derecho (1968-1972). Special studies: Seminars in the Mexican Bar Association and other institutions, such as the International Chamber of Commerce. Conferences: He regularly participates in the Mexican Bar Association as a speaker on subjects related to his specialties. Professional experience and associations: He has been a partner of Gonzalez de Castilla Abogados, S. C. (now called Gonzalez de Castilla y Avila Abogados, S. C.) since 1973. For three years (1969-1971) he worked for the law firm Hardin, Hess, Santos Galindo y Hanhausen. He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association. He is currently the secretary and/or member of the Boards of Directors of different companies. Area of expertise: His professional work has basically been focused on: Providing counsel in civil and commercial cases, principally in the field of corporate law, civil contracts, public and private domestic and international business contracts, partnerships, mergers, business strategies, shareholder agreements, possible shareholder disputes, and foreign investment. He has created complex condominium systems, covered questions of family law, such as the planning of successions and succession processes. He has also carried out social work as a lawyer and board member of two Monaco-based foundations that promote charity work in Mexico. Additionally, he has also provided counsel on private law in general.
